Job description

• Role: Act as a trusted technical advocate for key Service Provider customers in Melbourne, developing and validating technical solutions using Cisco’s SP portfolio
• developing technical solutions, building labs, and creating demo or Proof of Concept (POV) environments. configure Cisco Service Provider products to meet specific customer requirements, acting as a trusted technical advocate to ensure successful business outcomes for key Service Provider clients in Melbourne.
• 5+ years in the networking and telecommunications industry, specifically with Cisco products or key competitor offerings.
• Strong background in Service Provider networking, including OSPF/ISIS, BGP, Segment Routing, Layer 2 & 3 VPNs, and QoS.
• Typically requires a BS/BA (EE/CS). Must hold a CCNP (Service Provider or Networking), Cisco Certified DevNet Professional, or CCDP.
• Soft Skills: Excellent listening, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills with a team-oriented mindset.
• Preferred/Highly Regarded Attributes
• Automation: Strong skills in Service Provider routing and network automation.
• Programming: Network programming proficiency in Python and Ansible.
• Advanced Certification: CCDE or CCIE status is considered a significant plus.
