Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Test Practice Lead to drive and strengthen the testing capability across enterprise delivery programs. The role will be responsible for leading QA and testing initiatives, establishing testing best practices, mentoring teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple projects and clients.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test management, stakeholder engagement, delivery governance, automation strategy, and building scalable testing practices within large enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall testing practice across multiple projects and delivery streams.
  • Define and implement QA strategies, testing frameworks, standards, and governance processes.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manual and automation testing practices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, delivery teams, architects, and project managers to ensure quality outcomes.
  • Oversee SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities.
  • Mentor and guide Test Leads, Test Analysts, and Automation Engineers.
  • Establish and enforce test metrics, reporting, risk management, and defect governance.
  • Support pre-sales, resource planning, capability development, and practice growth initiatives.
  • Ensure alignment with Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD delivery methodologies.
  • Manage client relationships and act as the escalation point for testing and quality-related matters.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience leading enterprise testing practices and large QA teams.
  • Extensive experience in Test Management and Quality Assurance delivery.
  • Experience working across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery models.
  • Strong understanding of test automation frameworks and modern QA tools.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, JMeter, or similar.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing testing across digital transformation and enterprise integration programs.
  • Strong knowledge of defect management, test strategy, risk assessment, and release governance.
  • Experience in client-facing environments and delivery leadership roles.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working with Government, Banking, Insurance, or Enterprise clients.
  • Exposure to performance testing, API testing, cloud testing, and DevOps environments.
  • ISTQB or relevant testing certifications preferred.
  • Experience building or scaling testing practices within consulting or services organisations.
