Senior EUC Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Senior Client Platforms Engineer / End User Computing specialist to join a secure and complex enterprise environment supporting critical operations within the defence sector.

This is a hands-on role where you'll take ownership of enterprise client platforms and end-user computing environments, ensuring systems are reliable, secure and continuously improving. You'll work across a broad technology stack including virtualisation, Microsoft cloud services, endpoint management and modern workplace technologies, partnering closely with infrastructure, project and operational teams to deliver practical, scalable solutions.

The role suits someone who enjoys getting into the detail technically while also contributing to broader platform direction, operational improvements and team capability uplift.

Your Role

• Designing, implementing and supporting enterprise client platforms and EUC environments
• Maintaining high availability, performance and security across end-user computing systems
• Troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues across infrastructure and platform services
• Working closely with project and operational teams to deliver and support new solutions
• Supporting SOE and endpoint management, including lifecycle and configuration activities
• Participating in change and operational governance processes (including CAB)
• Contributing to documentation, standards and continuous improvement initiatives
• Providing input into technical decisions and mentoring others in the team
• Engaging with vendors and third-party providers where required
• Participating in after-hours support and on-call rotations as needed

Tech environment

You will be working across a modern enterprise stack including VMware, Citrix VDI, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, SCCM, Windows Server, Active Directory, core networking services (DNS, DHCP), endpoint security tools (DLP, application control), and PowerShell automation.

Your Experience

• Strong experience in a senior EUC, client platforms or infrastructure role
• Solid background supporting enterprise Windows and virtualised environments
• Hands-on experience with endpoint management and SOE environments
• Familiarity with Microsoft cloud and workplace technologies
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capability in complex environments
• Experience working within structured operational and change environments
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across technical and business teams
• Exposure to secure or regulated environments is highly regarded

Ability to obtain and maintain an NV2 Defence security clearance (Australian Citizenship required)
