About Born

Born is a full-service independent agency with offices in both Sydney and Adelaide. We’re B&T’s Independent Agency of the Year (under 50 people) and Mumbrella’s Emerging Agency of the Year. We build brands. We create campaigns for brands. Our work spans strategy, branding, design, campaigns, digital, production and more. We’re three years old, so still fairly new. But we’re ambitious, nice, and building momentum. Off the back of a few pitch wins, we’re on the hunt for our next great hire.

The role

We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our Adelaide office and support our growing account service team. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their agency career who’s organised, proactive, curious and eager to learn how great work gets made.

You’ll work closely with our account managers, strategists, creatives and production teams to help keep projects moving smoothly across branding, campaigns, social, digital and content. From helping manage timelines and client communication, to preparing meeting notes, briefing creatives and supporting production, you’ll play an important role in helping deliver great work and keeping clients happy.

We’re looking for someone who’s detail-oriented, positive, calm under pressure and excited by the pace and variety of agency life. Someone who enjoys building relationships, solving problems and being part of a collaborative team.

What you’ll do

Support the account team across day-to-day project management and client servicing

Help manage timelines, schedules, WIPs, status reports and project administration

Assist in preparing briefs, presentations, meeting notes and client documentation

Coordinate with creative, strategy and production teams to help projects stay on track

Build strong relationships with clients through clear communication and responsiveness

Support campaign rollouts, content shoots, production and delivery where needed

Help manage feedback, approvals and amends throughout projects

Contribute to presentations, pitch documents and internal planning sessions

Keep projects organised and moving efficiently across multiple workstreams

Learn how strategy, creativity and production come together to create effective work

Bring a positive attitude, attention to detail and willingness to jump in wherever needed

What we’re looking for

Some experience in an agency, marketing or client service environment is ideal

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Someone proactive, reliable and eager to learn

The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once

A collaborative mindset and positive attitude

Confidence working with different teams and personalities

An interest in branding, advertising, campaigns and creative work

Good written and verbal communication skills

Strong Google Workspace and Figma skills

Someone who stays calm under pressure and enjoys problem-solving

A genuine interest in agency life and building a career in client service
