An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Mental Health Service Manager to lead a team in the Community Living Support (CLS) program at a Local Health District level: Eastern Suburbs, Sydney . This is a senior leadership role for someone passionate about recovery‑oriented practice, strong partnerships and developing high‑performing teams.
About The Role
As the Mental Health Service Manager – CLS, you will:
Lead and oversee the CLS service, ensuring high‑quality, trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented support for consumers
Provide practice leadership, supervision, and coaching to frontline staff
Ensure fidelity to the CLS model and delivery against contractual and KPI obligations
Maintain strong partnerships with Local Health District clinicians and community stakeholders
Contribute directly to service delivery through a small caseload and cross‑LHD communities of practice
This role balances people leadership, practice excellence, and operational accountability , with a strong focus on capability building and continuous improvement.

About You - You Will Bring
Tertiary qualifications in a relevant mental health or health discipline or Cert IV in Peer Work
Proven experience leading a mental health service (minimum 2 years)
Strong working knowledge of the CLS model and recovery‑oriented practice
Exceptional communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience supervising and developing multidisciplinary teams
Experience within CLS programs and familiarity with the NSW Mental Health Act is highly regarded. Applicants with lived or carer experience of mental health challenges are encouraged to apply.

NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
NDIS orientation module - or willing to obtain
Working with Children Check
Valid NSW Drivers Licence
