Lead Facilitator /Budding Actor or Performer
Biomeg Pty Ltd
We are a premium, Melbourne-based educational program redefining how young people build confidence and create real-world influence to develop as the next generation talent and to create the leaders of the future. We offer children in age groups between 10 to 17 years life skills critical for their development and growth in today’s technology driven and connected world.
Our philosophy is simple: we use the stage as a rehearsal for life. We equip high-potential children and teens with aspirational, human-centric skills—including ethical persuasion, negotiation, body language, listening skills and interview readiness
The Role
We are seeking high-energy, budding actors, presenters, aspirational public speakers to lead and deliver our in-person courses.
As a Lead Facilitator, you will step away from traditional, cognitive teaching methods and structured scripts.
You aren't just teaching kids how to speak; you are enacting and coaching them on how to hold a room, read body language, and confidently advocate for themselves in real-world scenarios.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Role-Play & Simulation: Guide students through minimal-script, acting-led exercises focusing on storytelling, ethical persuasion, and negotiation.
- Coach Real-World Application: Help early teens master core modules like school leadership interviews and real-world communication.
- Provide Immediate Feedback: Deliver constructive, in-room coaching and feedback to students, building their confidence as an outcome, not just a topic.
Who You Are (The Ideal Candidate)
- A Performer at Heart: You are a budding actor, presenter, public speaker or a performing artist who understands the mechanics of stage presence and non-verbal power.
- High Energy & Embodied: You have a vibrant, infectious energy that can captivate a room of young people and make learning highly enjoyable.
- Emotionally Intelligent: You understand that this is an aspirational program (not remedial therapy) and can skilfully build genuine confidence in students.
- Real-World Savvy: You grasp the concepts of ethical persuasion, negotiation, and interview skills, and can translate these into accessible concepts for youth.
- Adaptable: You are comfortable working with minimal scripts and pivoting quickly based on the dynamics of a small group.
- Passionate: You relate well with the younger generation and have a passion to learn and to be the best in your chosen field, acting, performing, public speaking or as an artist.
- Initiative driven: You take initiative and are willing to bring new ideas and ways of presentation, case examples and topics to captivate the children
Why Join Us?
- Innovative Curriculum: Teach highly defensible, unique skills (like youth negotiation and ethical influence) that no other institution in the Australian market explicitly owns.
- Intimate Group Sizes: Work with small, focused groups (8-10 students) allowing you to make a genuine impact on each child's development.
- Practice your art: We are giving you the opportunity to practice your art esp. if you are looking to make a career in acting, performing or public speaking.
Time Commitment
· We plan to run pilot programs and launch with regular sessions in July 2026 through group classes at our teaching site based in Casey area.
· You will be expected to facilitate and run these classes in-person starting at 2-3 classes per week with 3-5 hour commitment per week and growing thereafter.
· Remuneration: This is a paid position, with remuneration provided in accordance with the Fair Work Act and Australian employment standards. Remuneration will be discussed with shortlisted candidates.
