About the role
We are seeking to recruit a Junior Graduate Lawyer to join our Adelaide office and work across a range of litigation and dispute resolution matters, with the opportunity to build and develop their own client base over time.
This role would best suit applicants who have recently graduated from university and have completed, or are currently completing, their GDLP.
Applicants should be based in Adelaide or willing to relocate.
Key responsibilities
- Assisting on litigation and dispute resolution matters
- Liaising with clients and third-party stakeholders
- Preparing court documents and correspondence
- Drafting legal documents throughout the course of litigation
- Briefing and liaising with Counsel and experts
- Working collaboratively with the wider legal team on matter strategy
About you
- Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent)
- Strong interest in litigation and dispute resolution
- Experience in a professional services environment (desirable)
- Ability to adapt to an evolving scope of work
- Confident communicator with clients and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A proactive and results-driven attitude
Whilst employment law or class action experience is desirable, it is not essential.
