Bi Reporting Specialist - Power BI

About your role

We are seeking a BI Reporting Specialist to join our Technology & Transformation team at Ixom. In this role, you will play a key part in transforming data into meaningful insights that support better business decisions.

You will contribute to the development and execution of Ixom’s Business Intelligence strategy by enhancing reporting capabilities, improving governance, and enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualise key business metrics
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting needs and deliver actionable insights
  • Analyse complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
  • Support BI project delivery aligned to business priorities
  • Establish and maintain reporting standards, templates, and governance frameworks
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security across reporting outputs
  • Rationalise and streamline existing reports to improve efficiency
  • Support and train users in accessing and interpreting Power BI reports
  • Build and foster a network of Power BI “Super Users” across the business
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of BI tools, processes, and capabilities
  • Provide support to key initiatives, including SAP S/4 HANA readiness

Who are we looking for?

You are a detail-oriented and analytical professional with a passion for data and storytelling through insights.

You will bring:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions
  • Strong understanding of data modelling, data warehousing concepts, and ETL processes
  • Proven ability to analyse complex data and translate insights into business value
  • Confident communicator with strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Working knowledge of data governance, data quality, and best practice reporting standards
