PS21 | $36.06 per hour (including the 25% loading) + penalty

About The Role

We are seeking reliable Orderly/Cleaners to join our dedicated Environmental Services team in Horsham! These casual positions are available for an immediate start and include working a 7-day, rotating roster that would include evenings and weekends. In this varied and fast-paced position, you will support the smooth running of our facilities by assisting with housekeeping, transport and couriering, ward support and patient support, waste management, and all aspects of cleaning throughout the Horsham Campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily duties as per the area task description and adhere to GH policies and standards.
  • Provide patient-focused care with timely, quality service, including assistance with plaster changes and crutch fittings.
  • Facilitate patient transfers and transport of samples between departments and wards.
  • Contribute to GH's quality improvement processes and adhere to infection control policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality regarding GH, its patients, staff, and business operations.
  • Promote diversity, inclusivity, and patient-centered care in all interactions, upholding GH's core values.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to customer service and patient-centered care.
  • Knowledge of cleanliness standards and infection control practices.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks on time.
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Cleaning experience, basic computer skills, and a current driver's license.
