Grounds & Maintenance Officer - ILU

At Levande, we’re looking for a hands-on Grounds & Maintenance Officer to help maintain our beautiful Arilla Village community in South Morang.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys gardening and grounds work but also has the practical skills to support general village maintenance when required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Maintaining gardens, lawns and outdoor areas
• Planting, pruning, mulching and general garden care
• Keeping shared outdoor spaces clean, safe and well-presented
• Supporting general maintenance and minor repairs across the village
• Responding to maintenance requests and safety matters
• Building positive relationships with residents and the village team

What We’re Looking For

• 3–5 years’ experience in gardening, grounds or maintenance roles
• Someone practical, reliable and self-motivated
• Comfortable working independently and managing priorities
• Friendly approach and strong customer service skills
• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work
• Basic computer skills

Nice to Have

• Experience in retirement living, schools, councils or large community environments
• Gardening or trade qualification
• Driver’s licence and willingness to drive a 12-seater bus if required
