Their off the shelf and customised solutions enable customers to make better informed business decisions, whether it be improving customer satisfaction, improving sales effectiveness, assessing risk and lending suitability, managing digital identity, preventing fraudulent account activity etc. They realise value from internal and external data sources which helps to improve customer experience and overall business confidence.

They are currently seeking a Key Account Manager to join their high performing sales team. his role will see you establishing strong relationships & maintaining an existing account portfolio of tier 1 and tier 2 enterprise customers, as well as "whitespace" business development activities, selling across a broad portfolio of products and services.

They are offering a base salary circa $160-170k + super + $100k comms

Key responsibilities

  • Protect, retain and grow share of wallet within your customer base (up-sell/cross-sell) - approximately 50% of the role
  • "Whitespace" business development into named prospect accounts - approximately 50% of the role
  • Identify business pain points using insights led approach
  • Development of strategic account plans
  • Assess market opportunities
  • Achievement of monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets
  • Effective territory management
  • Representation at industry events
  • Internal and external key stakeholder management
  • Commercial and legal contractual negotiations – RFPI’s, RFI’s & RFT’s

Key skills required

  • Extensive track record of sales achievement working in a solutions focused, B2B software/SaaS sales environment - vendor preferred
  • Proven history of effectively managing and growing an existing book of mid market and/or enterprise accounts
  • A proven track record of "whitespace" business development also mandatory - this is not a traditional "farming" account management or CSM style of role
  • Structured sales approach/methodology – formally trained
  • Expert at managing short, medium and long sales cycles
  • Experience of selling at CxO level down – business buyers/decision makers
  • Gravitas, resilience and "grit"
