This role supports maintenance activities across rail infrastructure, civil maintenance and contractor delivered works in a live operational environment.

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Civil Maintenance Planner to support maintenance activities across rail foundations, culverts, RMT maintenance and track support works.

You’ll be responsible for developing maintenance schedules aligned to labour, equipment and supply chain requirements while supporting strong backlog health and execution readiness.

This role works closely with contractor teams and operational stakeholders to ensure maintenance work is planned effectively and delivered safely.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Developing and maintaining maintenance schedules
  • Supporting forward planning and backlog management activities
  • Coordinating contractor maintenance activities
  • Aligning schedules with labour, equipment and supply chain requirements
  • Supporting work management and defect management processes
  • Monitoring weekly budgets and monthly accruals
  • Managing PRs, POs and SES activities aligned to procurement processes
  • Working closely with maintenance and operational stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in maintenance planning or scheduling within heavy industry
  • Exposure to rail, civil or infrastructure maintenance environments
  • Experience working with contractor maintenance teams
  • Strong understanding of work management processes
  • Experience managing backlog health and forward planning
  • Strong coordination and stakeholder engagement skills
  • SAP experience highly regarded
  • Must have the right to work in Australia
