Investment Banking Analyst

A leading independent investment banking boutique is seeking an Analyst to join its Sydney office, working across a broad range of high-profile M&A and strategic advisory transactions.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded team advising ASX-listed corporates, private companies, founders and financial sponsors on complex transactions across multiple sectors.

The team is currently experiencing strong deal flow and offers exposure to large-scale domestic and cross-border transactions in a lean team environment, providing Analysts with significant responsibility and client exposure from day one.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial modelling and valuation analysis
• Preparation of client presentations, information memoranda and transaction materials
• Market, industry and company research
• Supporting execution of M&A and strategic advisory mandates
• Direct exposure to senior bankers and clients throughout transaction processes

Candidate Requirements

• Approximately 2 years’ experience within M&A Advisory / Investment Banking is essential
• Strong financial modelling and valuation capability
• Experience working on live transactions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong academic background
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
