About the Role

As an Intern, you will work closely with our engineering and project management teams on the design, planning, and delivery of capital works and maintenance programs for multiple local councils. You will be guided by experienced engineers who will help you develop practical skills while working within your university’s internship framework.

What You will Be Doing

• Assisting with Health, Safety, Environment and Quality (HSEQ) documentation.
• Helping prepare project schedules, budgets, and forecasts.
• Supporting material procurement and subcontractor tendering.
• Assisting in on-site coordination, safety checks, and progress reporting.
• Learning how projects are delivered from start to finish – from design through to completion.

What We are Looking For

• Currently studying a Bachelor of Civil Engineering (or a related field).
• Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Strong communicator, eager to learn, and willing to take initiative.
• Able to multitask, stay organised, and work well in a team environment.
