The Opportunity
You'll support the security and compliance of our data centres and national business operations across Australia and New Zealand. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow their cyber security career in a practical, fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
Reporting directly to the IT Compliance & Security Manager and working onsite at our Truganina corporate office, you will join a collaborative IT Security team and gain exposure across cyber security operations, compliance and threat management. This role offers genuine mentoring, development, and long-term career growth.
What you'll be doing
Monitor and triage security alerts, incidents, and vulnerabilities
Support threat and vulnerability management activities
Assist with compliance activities, internal audits, and external audit preparation
Manage ticket requests and support day-to-day security operations
Maintain audit logs and support security reporting processes
Work alongside internal teams on security projects and business initiatives
Support security awareness and best practice across the business
What you'll bring
2-3 years' experience in an IT security, compliance, or infrastructure environment
Exposure to incident response, vulnerability management, or threat monitoring
Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills
A collaborative mindset with willingness to learn and develop
Understanding of security principles, protocols, and best practices
Experience supporting audits or compliance activities is highly regarded
Security+ certification (minimum preferred qualification)
ITIL certification or training highly regarded
