This role focuses on delivering high-quality training and support to operational staff, including onboarding, driver assessments, and regulatory compliance training across Load Restraint, Dangerous Goods, Chain of Responsibility, Defensive Driving and Manual Handling. You’ll play a critical role in helping people thrive in their roles, while continuing to grow in yours.
The Role
- Based in Brisbane, with occasional travel across SEQ and interstate support as required
- Deliver group and one-on-one training, both on-site and on-road
- Provide coaching in key operational areas including chain of responsibility, fatigue management, and compliance
- Complete pre-employment assessments for drivers and forklift operators
- Conduct verification of competency (VOC) assessments for the operational team
- Support team members in understanding and applying policies, NHVR regulations, and WHS legislation
- Work collaboratively with branch leaders to support staff development and capability
- Be part of a national Learning & Development team that shares knowledge and supports growth

Qualifications
- What You’ll Need:
- At least 1 year of operational experience in the heavy vehicle industry
- Must have Cert IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40122)
- A current MC Licence and forklift Licence
- No training experience needed, we’ll provide the tools and support
- A genuine interest in developing others and being a role model
- Great communication skills, both written and verbal
- Hold or willing to obtain:
- Cert III in Driver Operations (TLI31222) or Supply Chain Ops (TLI30319)
- Cert IV in Transport & Logistics (TLI41310 – Heavy Vehicle Driving Instruction)
