The Associate Director of Clinical Operations will be accountable for the overall delivery of the Business and Clinical trial operations through strong leadership of the management team.

The Associate Director, Clinical Operations will be responsible for overseeing the related activities of the assigned team members to ensure integration of service delivery across internal departments to provide the global customers with a seamless service experience.

Partner with the VP to turn strategy into execution, empower, and build an engaged, customer-focused culture.

Key responsibilities

• Own day-to-day state clinical trial operations (including screening, nursing and supporting teams).
• Manage budgets and KPIs with the VP; drive process and financial improvements.
• Optimise workforce planning with Resourcing to meet revenue and delivery targets.
• Align timelines and capacity with Pharmacy, Laboratory, Project Management and other functions.
• Ensure environments, equipment and documentation remain audit-ready.
• Build strong client relationships; manage escalations and vendors.
• Coach leaders and teams; develop talent and uphold safety, quality and compliance.

About you

• Senior operations leader ideally with experience in clinical operations (healthcare or research).
• Strong financial/operational acumen and continuous-improvement mindset.
• Skilled stakeholder manager; influential, calm under pressure.
• Proven team builder who drives high performance, inclusion and wellbeing.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications (e.g., Nursing, Life Sciences, Health Administration, Business).
