The Opportunity

• You will take ownership of the processing lifecycle of migration applications, including:
• Managing cases from engagement through to lodgment
• Reviewing eligibility and aligning documentation with visa criteria
• Preparing and finalizing decision-ready applications
• Drafting submissions, statutory declarations, and supporting documents
• Ensuring compliance with migration legislation and policy
• Lodging applications accurately and efficiently

You will also

• Supervise and guide processing staff and junior team members
• Review checklists, documents, and application readiness
• Ensure timelines and lodgment targets are met
• Work closely with consultants/advisors to align strategy and execution

Senior-Level Responsibilities

• For experienced candidates, the role will also involve:
• Reviewing complex cases prior to lodgment
• Providing technical guidance and quality control
• Training and developing processing team members
• Improving internal workflows and case handling standards

Who We Are Looking For

You are

• A Registered Migration Agent or Immigration Lawyer in a consulting role - NOT a Processing role.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong advisory, documentation, and compliance skills
• Experienced in assessing eligibility, providing strategic migration advice, and guiding case direction
• Confident in reviewing, refining, and signing off on applications independently
• Organized and able to manage multiple active matters with a consultancy mindset
• Comfortable advising team members and clients on complex scenarios
• Accountable for accuracy, strategy, timelines, and client outcomes

Experience Levels

• Senior Migration Consultant / Team Lead
• Minimum 3 years RMA experience
• Strong background in end-to-end case strategy, advisory, and lodgment oversight
• Extensive experience handling complex visa subclasses (GSM, employer-sponsored, partner, etc.)
• Proven ability to review, guide, and elevate team output from a technical standpoint
• Confident in client-facing consultations and high-level case direction

Migration Consultant

• Minimum 1 year relevant experience
• Strong foundation in visa advisory, eligibility assessments, and documentation requirements
• Familiar with lodgment standards, compliance, and client consultation processes
• Willing to grow into a senior advisory and leadership role

Remuneration

Migration Consultant

$65,000 – $75,000 base + performance bonuses

Senior Migration Consultant / Team Lead

$80,000 – $110,000 base + performance incentives
