Senior Project Manager (Security Uplift Programme)

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead a large-scale Security Uplift Programme across a complex, multi-stream environment spanning Australia and New Zealand.

This is not a programme management role, we are looking for a hands-on, business-focused Project Manager with strong commercial acumen, the ability to direct activity across multiple workstreams, and the confidence to challenge and push back where required. The ideal individual will operate with a proactive mindset, effectively "feeding themselves" work and driving outcomes without heavy direction.

Location: Melbourne based - essential

Duration: 6 months

Overview Of The Project

• Security uplift programme valued at approx. $1.8M
• Minimum 6-month contract
• Circa 16 concurrent workstreams
• Environment spans NZ-based business with an AU-linked operating model
• Programme sits within a wider transformation and security improvement initiative

Context

The customer environment is relatively immature from a technology and security capability perspective, with a need for uplift across core IT and security functions.

Key Requirements

• Senior Project Manager with strong business and commercial awareness
• Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stream programmes (circa 16 streams)
• Ability to operate in immature environments and bring structure and delivery discipline
• Confident stakeholder management skills with ability to challenge and influence
• Strong coordination and "traffic control" capability across competing priorities
• Experience working across security uplift or transformation programmes highly desirable
• Ability to work across AU and NZ time zones
• AU or NZ based (either location suitable)
• Occasional travel to NZ may be required (expenses covered)
