Legal Counsel & Compliance Manager

We’re partnering with a globally recognised investment manager, to appoint a Lawyer & Compliance Manager within their APAC Legal & Compliance team.

This is a unique opportunity to join a high-calibre, globally integrated business and take on a broad role supporting Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore and wider APAC operations.

The role

You’ll operate as a key member of the APAC Legal & Compliance function, providing hands-on legal and regulatory support across a sophisticated funds management platform.

• Advising on Australian and APAC regulatory matters

• Drafting and reviewing IMAs, fund documentation and commercial agreements

• Supporting compliance frameworks, policies and regulatory obligations

• Reviewing marketing materials, RFPs/DDQs and client communications

• Supporting governance across boards and committees

• Liaising with regulators, auditors and external counsel across jurisdictions

About you

• Qualified lawyer with experience in asset / funds management

• Strong knowledge of Australian financial services regulation

• Exposure to Hong Kong / Singapore regulatory frameworks highly regarded

• Experience working across both legal and compliance functions

• Commercial, pragmatic and confident engaging with senior stakeholders
