A market leader with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join their growing business.
Offering a range of services to their high-end clients, the company specialises in fit-out and refurbishment projects across Commercial, Education, Health Retail, Hospitality and Government sectors to name a few.
As Project Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering multiple large construction projects from conversion through construction to hand over, finalisation and review, with project values ranging between smaller up to $30m+.

4 – 8+ years
Responsibilities include but not limited to
- Oversee financial management, planning and programming on all projects
- Conduct regular programme and internal project audits
- Manage dispute resolution between both clients and subcontractors
- Provide guidance through the tender process
- Attend tender interviews, client meetings and business development functions
- Review and improve construction methodologies
- Supervise the recruitment, induction and development of project-based staff, ensuring regular performance feedback occurs
- Ensure industrial relations issues are resolved and industrial arrangements are up to date
Qualifications and Requirements
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction or similar
- Minimum 3-5 years with proven experience in heavy fit-out and successfully delivering high value construction projects
- Construction Safety Induction (White) card
- Proven leadership ability in building and motivating teams
- Detailed knowledge of local council and regulatory requirements / standards
- Strong project financial reporting skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
