Do you love crafting high-quality video content that educates, engages, and entertains? Want your work seen by thousands of developers across the globe?

SSW is on the hunt for a creative and passionate Videographer (AV / Shooter / Editor) to join our Sydney team. You’ll help power SSW TV – a YouTube channel with 37K+ subscribers and 1.5M+ views – and play a key role in shaping the way we share knowledge with the tech world.

You’ll work alongside our talented SSW TV and marketing teams to bring developer stories to life. From filming monthly user group meetups to producing studio interviews and promotional videos, no two days will look the same.

Important Stuff

Full Time
4 days in the office in Neutral Bay, 1 day WFH
Salary range $85,000 to $110,000 inc. super (dependent on seniority + experience)
Travel occasionally to other SSW offices (Brisbane, Melbourne, Newcastle)

What You’ll Do

Film, edit, and publish engaging content for YouTube and other platforms
Set up and maintain our in-house video studio and livestream gear
Work collaboratively with developers, marketers, and clients
Work with AI to enhance your video production
Loves filming geeks talking about AI and telling their story

What You Bring

Must-Haves:

Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency
2–3 years of video production experience and a strong portfolio to show it
A relevant degree (or equivalent real-world experience)
Experience operating DSLR cameras and live streaming software
Knowledge of studio lighting and audio capture
Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe Suite
Experience with TikTok-style video creation
Great communication skills – written, verbal, and visual
A natural curiosity for tech and a love of AI tools
A current driver’s licence

Bonus Points For:

Adobe After Effects, Canva, WordPress
SEO knowledge and experience with photography
Familiarity with pre-sales or client pitching
