DevOps Lead

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead to support a large-scale Property Systems environment within a complex enterprise organisation.

This role will be responsible for leading and coordinating end-to-end deployment activities across enterprise ICT projects, ensuring deployment planning, release coordination, stakeholder engagement and change activities are delivered successfully.

You will work closely with business stakeholders, project teams, ICT subject matter experts and implementation partners to drive deployment outcomes across a transformation-focused environment.

This is a highly collaborative role suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced delivery environments and enjoys working across both technical and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain deployment strategies and approaches aligned to business objectives.
• Lead and coordinate deployment activities including planning, scheduling, testing, pilots and release execution.
• Conduct release planning workshops and prioritise deployment activities across business areas.
• Coordinate deployment stakeholders including business teams, project resources and implementation partners.
• Deployment and cutover plans
• Mock/dress rehearsal plans
• Acceptance plans
• Resource and work plans
• Go/No-Go checklists
• Deployment schedules and metrics
• Facilitate deployment walkthroughs and rehearsal activities with key stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on deployment progress, risks, issues and outcomes.
• Manage deployment-related risks and escalations to ensure timely resolution.
• Drive deployment best practices including automation, continuous improvement and agile delivery methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with organisational standards, change management processes and quality assurance requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• 5+ years’ experience working on enterprise-scale ICT projects in a Deployment Lead, DevOps Lead or similar capacity.
• Proven experience working with implementation partners across full deployment lifecycles within transformation programs.
• Strong understanding of deployment coordination, release planning and change activities.
• Experience managing complex interdependencies across multiple teams and workstreams.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build consensus across business and technical groups.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
• A collaborative, adaptable and proactive approach within high-pressure delivery environments.

This role will be offered as an initial 6 month contract + potential to extend.
