Senior Adobe Developer

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Adobe Developer to drive the design, development, and maintenance of sophisticated Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions for a government client. What You'll Do:

• Lead the creation and deployment of custom AEM components, web parts, workflows, and forms that enhance user engagement.
• Develop, optimize, and support portals, corporate websites, and document management systems with a focus on usability, security, and performance.
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot and debug AEM applications and integrations with other enterprise systems.
• Provide mentorship and conduct code reviews for junior developers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Manage AEM system administration tasks such as configuration, upgrades, backups, and user support.
• Stay updated with the latest Adobe technologies and industry best practices to ensure our solutions remain innovative and secure.

Required Skills:

• Demonstrated expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) development and administration.
• Strong proficiency with Java, JCR, OSGi, Sling, and CRXDE.
• Experience developing RESTful services and integrating APIs.
• Knowledge of web development technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Familiarity with Lotus Notes is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and debugging capabilities.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience working within federal government environments.
• Familiarity with SharePoint development and administration (notably 10+ years).
• Relevant Adobe certifications.
• Agile methodology experience.
• Knowledge of industry best practices for security and accessibility.

Preferred Education & Experience:

Must hold an active AGSVA NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance.

• At least 10+ years of experience in Adobe development, preferably with a focus on AEM and SharePoint solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality, complex enterprise solutions on time.

Other Requirements:

• Must hold an active AGSVA NV1 or NV2 Security Clearance.
• Reside in Canberra or Melbourne with the ability to work full-time in Ballarat.
