Position Summary
Blue Music Services is seeking a part-time PR & Marketing Manager to join the team, working 2-3 days per week. Days and working arrangements will be flexible and negotiable for the right candidate. Candidates based in Melbourne or Sydney are strongly preferred. This role is best suited to someone with prior PR, marketing or media experience looking to take the next step within the music and culture space.
The role is primarily focused on PR campaigns across music and culture, while also contributing to broader marketing and project initiatives within the business. Responsibilities include developing and executing national PR campaigns across DSPs, radio, press, TV, digital and cultural media platforms.
The role will also contribute to the continued growth of the business's marketing offering, including digital campaigns and Blue Music Services' social media presence.
The ideal candidate will have established relationships across ANZ media, particularly within new media, digital media, youth and fashion publications, and will be self-sufficient, proactive and detail-oriented.

Reporting to the Director based in Melbourne, this role will play an integral part in driving the profile of clients across Australia and New Zealand.
There is potential for this role to grow into a full-time position in the future.
Primary Responsibilities
Liaise with the team on PR and marketing campaign strategy and proactively present new ideas
Develop and implement social media strategy for Blue Music Services, including content creation
Contribute to proposals and presentations for prospective clients
Write press releases, media materials and campaign copy
Support the continued growth of Blue Music Services' marketing and project management offering
Create campaign pitch sheets and promotional assets
Service AU/NZ media and platform partners including DSPs, radio, press, TV, non-broadcast and digital media
Develop and maintain relationships across media, creators and digital platforms
Coordinate PR schedules for artists, attend interviews across Melbourne and Sydney, and facilitate phone or Zoom interviews as required
Compile campaign reports for clients and provide regular promotional updates
Maintain clear and timely communication with media and clients
Assist in updating Blue Music Services’ website content
Provide ad hoc support across projects (e.g. updating Spotify playlists)
Skills & Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years experience in a similar PR, publicity, or marketing role
Experience within music, entertainment, or culture-led industries is highly regarded
Strong copywriting skills
Strong understanding of the AU/NZ media landscape, particularly youth, digital, and fashion media
Knowledge of digital marketing platforms including Meta, TikTok, Google, and Mailchimp (or similar email marketing platforms)
Strong time management skills and attention to detail
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office / Google Workspace
A strong interest in music, culture, and emerging media trends
