About the Role
An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced
Senior Associate to join a growing
Wills & Estates practice in beautiful Manly beach.
This role offers exposure to sophisticated estate planning, estate administration, probate litigation, and family provision disputes, working alongside highly regarded practitioners in a collaborative and client-focused environment.
The office is truly unique with a full kitchen, self-contained end of trip facilities, entertaining courtyard and all within two minutes' walk from Manly wharf. They offer very flexible and WFH options.
Our client will also consider a Partner across Wills and Estates & Property and Conveyancing that may have a practice to bring with them.
The Role
You will manage a broad range of matters including:
- Complex wills and estate planning
- Probate and letters of administration
- Estate administration
- Testamentary trusts and succession planning
- Contested estates litigation
- Family provision claims
- Enduring powers of attorney and guardianship matters
The practice services a loyal client base and regularly handles technically challenging and sensitive matters requiring strong interpersonal and strategic skills.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- 10+ years' PAE in Wills & Estates
- Strong experience in probate and estate administration
- Demonstrated exposure to family provision and contested estates matters
- Excellent drafting and technical skills
- Strong client relationship and communication abilities
- A commercial yet empathetic approach
- The ability to manage matters autonomously
