About the Role
We are seeking to recruit a Junior Lawyer to work on general litigation and dispute resolution matters, with an interest in building their own client base over time.
This is an entry-level role and would best suit applicants who have recently graduated from university and have completed, or are in the process of completing, their GDLP. Applicants should be based in Sydney or willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities
- Working on litigation files
- Liaising with clients and third-party stakeholders
- Preparing court documents
- Drafting correspondence and documents in the course of litigation
- Briefing and liaising with Counsel and experts
- Working collaboratively to develop strategic direction
About You
- Bachelor of Laws (or equivalent)
- Strong interest in litigation
- Experience in a professional services environment (desirable)
- Ability to adapt to an evolving scope of work
- Confident communicator with clients and stakeholders
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- A “can do”, results-driven attitude
Whilst employment law or class action experience is desirable, it is not essential.
