Senior Compliance and Governance Analyst

About The Opportunity

You will support the uplift of SkyCity’s Host Responsibility risk management framework by developing risk assessments to identify gaps, assess emerging risks, and contribute to effective mitigation strategies, implementing and testing controls to ensure they remain robust, effective, and aligned with regulatory expectations. You will drive compliance improvements by identifying opportunities to strengthen processes, documentation, and reporting. You will also play a key role in supporting governance uplift through the preparation of high quality board ready papers, maintenance of corporate registers, coordination of delegations, and ongoing review and communication of Host Responsibility policies, procedures, and SOPs. You will contribute to organisational accountability by monitoring regulatory change, collating Host Responsibility metrics to support data driven decision making, and embedding B3 deliverables through the design, rollout, and adoption of key Host Responsibility initiatives.

About You

You bring strong knowledge of risk management principles and frameworks, supported by experience working within a highly regulated sector such as Financial Services. Your background includes well developed governance processes and excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to tailor complex information for a wide audience, including Board and Executive stakeholders. You demonstrate strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability, working constructively and collaboratively across key contributors. You will also bring an understanding of control testing techniques, high attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

This role has a targeted start date of July 2026 in line with current business priorities.
