SkyCity Adelaide is looking for a Financial Crime Transaction Monitoring Screening Specialist to join the team on a 12-month Contract.

About The Opportunity

This role offers the chance to play a key technical role within SkyCity Adelaide’s Financial Crime Monitoring & Intelligence function, supporting a robust, defensible transaction monitoring framework. Working under the Head of Finanical Crime Monitoring & Intelligence and alongside the Financial Crime Monitoring & Screening Lead, you will drive the data‑driven elements of monitoring design and optimisation, partnering closely with financial crime, risk, data, ICT, governance forums, and regulators. It is a high‑impact opportunity to shape monitoring effectiveness, reduce false positives, and ensure rules are efficient, risk‑appropriate, and sustainable under regulatory scrutiny.

About You

You are a technically strong Financial Crime Transaction Monitoring Screening Specialist with deep expertise in designing, tuning, and testing TM rules and customer screening settings. You bring advanced SQL capability, experience calibrating scenarios and thresholds, and a solid understanding of AML/CTF systems and regulatory expectations, ideally within financial services or gaming. You are comfortable translating intelligence insights into practical detection logic, producing clear technical documentation, executing unit and post‑implementation testing, and balancing risk, commercial, and technology priorities while engaging effectively with a range of stakeholders.

This role has a targeted start date of July 2026 in line with current business priorities.
