Arts Cultural Development Officer
- Full-time, fixed term contract (3 months)

- $101,985 - $110,964 (Band 6) per annum plus Superannuation ( pro-rata)
Reporting to the Senior Coordinator Community & Cultural Programming, you will be responsible for supporting the investigation, development and delivery of innovative creative programs, events and services to ensure quality cultural development outcomes for our Boroondara community.
A little bit about the role
You will have the scope to identify, plan, manage and deliver quality community cultural development projects. This will involve~
- Engaging local creative groups and community members in the development and delivery of cultural development projects.
- Developing training, mentorship and networking opportunities for arts workers and community arts and cultural organisations.
- Assessing and maintaining the Arts and Culture portfolio of community grants for creative arts groups, festivals and events and individuals.
Within the broader team, you will actively participate and contribute to a co-operative, positive and motivated Arts and Culture department by collaborating on team projects in the planning and delivery of programs and services. You will be required to engage with other departments, working groups, community stakeholders and like-minded organisations to identify and respond to community needs for cultural programs.

Experience and Other Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Cultural Development, Arts Management or equivalent (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience in community cultural development or equivalent field.
- Preferred applicants will be required to undergo a National Police Record Check and hold a valid Working with Children Clearance.
