About the Role
We are looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join our join our high-performing team on a full-time basis (Rotating Shift), based in Shepparton. Successful applicants will be trade qualified and have previous trade experience with a strong work ethic and demonstrated commitment to food and workplace safety. You will be joining a hardworking team that are committed to the focus on the continual growth of the business, which services the manufacturing industry.
Supporting the manufacturing function in the installation of new equipment, repairs and maintenance will make you a part of our success.

What your days look like
- Responding to mechanical breakdowns and carrying out repairs to keep production running smoothly
- Performing planned preventative and condition-based maintenance on high-speed food manufacturing equipment
- Fabricating and repairing parts using machining and welding where required
- Working safely with high-risk equipment and actively participating in safety and quality initiatives
- Managing parts, tools and maintenance documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance
- Contributing to continuous improvement through root cause analysis, asset reviews and project support
The Ingredients for Success
Strong mechanical background with hands on experience
Trade qualification in a mechanical field
Experience in pneumatics, welding and machining is advantageous
Previous experience with SAP or CMMS is highly regarded
FMCG experience
Experienced in analysing equipment condition & identifying maintenance requirements.
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work in a team environment
Willingness to work a rotating roster- day, afternoon and night shifts to meet production requirements
Sound knowledge of OHSE & Quality systems.
EWP, Confined Space and Forklift Licences are highly desirable
