Senior Contracts Administrator

We’re seeking an experienced Contracts professional to support a major infrastructure project, managing a range of portfolios including professional services/advisory contracts to main civil infrastructure works.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage contract administration, compliance, correspondence, and records
  • Assess monthly progress claims and support approvals
  • Identify and manage variations, risks, claims and disputes (cost/time focus)
  • Prepare concise, decision-ready briefings and reports for senior leaders/governance
  • Work closely with project disciplines and external consultants/contractors; handle difficult conversations
  • Support procurement activity and apply relevant Victorian Government procurement frameworks

Key Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Strong contract management experience on significant major projects/infrastructure
  • Confident managing advisory/professional services contracts and contract discipline
  • Commercially savvy—able to assess risk/claims and work with legal/commercial advisers
  • Excellent written communication and high attention to detail
  • Comfortable owning your work while reporting to a senior lead
  • Degree qualified in Commerce, Engineering, Law or Business Management or relevant industry

Casual Loading

Please note for all Australian based contract and temporary roles only, the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading. This excludes permanent and fixed term roles.
