An opportunity has become available to join our newly formed team of Property Services Team Leaders. This role will support the North West Sydney Region and report to the Regional Property Services Manager.

Based at Blacktown you will apply your property maintenance expertise to manage this site and support, oversee and lead Maintenance Coordinators based across Northbridge, Monavale, Blacktown and Kemps Creek sites. You’ll ensure all sites are safe and well-maintained, guide your team, standardise maintenance practices, and help recruit and induct new Maintenance Coordinators.

Your positive and proactive approach together with your ability to prioritise, build strong stakeholder relationships and effectively lead and inspire a dedicated team, will support your success.

Your primary responsibilities will include;

  • Deliver preventative maintenance across your portfolio
  • Coordinate and perform reactive maintenance and tasks
  • Work with Maintenance Coordinators and Regional Managers on building improvements
  • Manage external contractors
  • Lead, support, and develop a high-performing team
  • Ensure safe work practices and compliance with policies
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders

The preferred candidate is driven, dedicated to supporting positive change, shows respect for older people and the workplace environment, and consistently upholds high ethical standards.

Additionally, you will have;

  • Trade qualification (highly desirable) and/or Cert IV in Maintenance/Building Services
  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance or building services roles
  • Practical hands on building maintenance knowledge
  • Contractor management experience
  • Strong WHS understanding
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and time-management skills
  • Tech-savvy with willingness to adopt new systems
  • Respectful, ethical, and committed to supporting the team and older people
  • Police Check and Driver Licence (travel required; vehicle provided)
