Komatsu Pakenham is looking for a skilled

Field Service Technician to hit the ground running and keep our customers moving. You’ll be out in the field working on industry-leading equipment, solving problems, and making a real impact every day.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Diagnosing, repairing and maintaining Komatsu equipment in the field.
• Troubleshooting hydraulic, electrical and mechanical issues.
• Completing service reports and job paperwork.
• Working closely with customers and the wider service team.
• Delivering safe, high-quality work every time.

Roster: 7:30am to 4:00pm roster with overtime opportunities based on operational needs.

What we are looking for

• Qualified Mobile Plant Mechanic with experience working on heavy equipment.
• Ability to work autonomously across both field and workshop environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong troubleshooting ability with a high level of attention to detail.
• Solid computer systems skills for service and diagnostic work.
• White Card required.
• Forklift licence highly regarded.
• Dogman ticket and truck licence beneficial.
• Commitment to providing high quality customer service.
