Brand Manager

Miller Leith

Company Overview

Our client is a well-established and innovative Australian FMCG business with a strong growth agenda across both domestic and export markets. A recognised name in the infant category, the business offers a portfolio of premium products distributed through major retailers and international channels, backed by a vertically integrated supply chain and a strong reputation for quality and innovation.

The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious brand marketer to step into a role where your work is seen, felt and valued. Sitting at the centre of a lean, energetic marketing team, you'll partner closely with the Head of Marketing to execute the brand plan across Australia and key Emerging Markets — bringing campaigns to life, keeping the content engine running, driving NPD from insight to shelf and supporting the commercial agenda across major retail and international accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute integrated brand campaigns across digital, social, PR, retail and influencer channels
  • Manage the content calendar and coordinate asset approvals across AU and Emerging Markets, ensuring all content meets regulatory requirements and brand standards
  • Drive NPD coordination from consumer research and packaging development through to on-shelf launch
  • Prepare and manage agency briefs across creative, media and PR partners, ensuring delivery on time, on brief and on budget
  • Support the National Sales team with retailer plans, category presentations and trade materials for Coles, Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse and key international accounts
  • Manage brand presence across Shopify, social media and eCommerce platforms
  • Assist with A&P budget tracking, purchase order management and invoice reconciliation
  • Provide day-to-day direction and support to the Marketing Coordinator

Skills and Experience

  • 3–5 years' experience in brand management or marketing within FMCG, food or consumer health
  • Proven ability to execute brand and campaign plans with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
  • Confident working with and managing agency partners across creative, media and PR
  • Experience across digital, social and CMS platforms — Shopify experience a bonus
  • Strong understanding of Australian retail channels (Coles, Woolworths, Chemist Warehouse and independents)
  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines without dropping the ball
  • A natural collaborator who builds strong relationships across cross-functional teams
  • Proactive, hands-on and genuinely passionate about brand building
  • Experience in regulated categories (TGA etc.) is advantageous but not essential

Benefits

  • Hybrid working model — flexibility built in from day one
  • Loyalty Leave — an additional day of paid annual leave for every year you're with the business
  • Access to a comprehensive Employee Assistance Program
  • A collaborative, inclusive and purpose-led culture where great work is recognised and rewarded
  • Real scope to grow your career
