Contract: Initial 6 contract. potential to extend
Location: Melbourne OR Sydney - 3 days/week on site
A leading Australian Bank is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end‑to‑end delivery of a regulatory remediation program focused on resolving data integrity and risk issues across core banking systems. The program addresses a material regulatory exposure where collateral records are not consistently linked to the correct legal entities, requiring remediation, strengthened governance, and sustainable long‑term controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead planning, execution, reporting, and close‑out of the remediation program.
- Establish governance, RACI, and escalation pathways to GM/Executive and Risk owners.
- Coordinate cross‑functional Tech Squad and BA resources to deliver remediation outcomes.
- Maintain clear regulatory and risk‑focused reporting for APRA and internal Risk/Compliance teams.
- Manage issues, dependencies, and change; ensure actions and decisions are tracked
Required Skills & Experience

mandatory requirements:
- Proven delivery of regulatory remediation programs in banking or financial services.
- Consumer banking experience
- Strong executive‑level stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Knowledge of collateral and legal entity structures in Business or Consumer Banking (strongly preferred)
