Economic Development Officer

AustCorp is recruiting an Economic Development Officer on behalf of a local government in Cloverdale for an initial 7-month full time contract.

This is a great opportunity to join a growing Economic Development team and help drive business growth, stakeholder partnerships and local economic initiatives.

About The Role

• Build relationships with businesses, stakeholders and industry
• Deliver networking events, business programs and workforce initiatives
• Support new and existing businesses with growth and approvals
• Assist with strategy implementation, research and promotions

About you

• Experience in economic development or business development (local government experience highly regarded)
• Strong interpersonal, communication and project coordination skills
• Collaborative, organised and customer-focused
• Relevant qualification or equivalent experience
• Driver's licence and ability to obtain Police Clearance
