The Talent Initiative is partnering with a large enterprise undergoing a major Retail Transformation program and we’re looking for a Platform Delivery Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a Customer Communications Management (CCM) platform.

This is a delivery leadership role with real complexity: you’ll own the platform plan across design, build, system testing, and provide strong support through SIT/UAT and deployment readiness, while coordinating internal teams, a specialist CCM vendor, and multiple upstream/downstream integrations.

What you’ll be doing

  • Own an integrated CCM platform delivery plan across design → build → system test → SIT/UAT support → go-live readiness
  • Drive disciplined estimation and sequencing (bottom-up, SME validated) and manage plan vs actuals / reforecasting
  • Lead dependency management across upstream trigger systems and the integration layer (API/file/event patterns), plus downstream delivery channels (digital + mailhouse)
  • Run delivery governance: RAID, reporting, escalation, and decision-making to protect critical path outcomes
  • Manage vendor delivery performance and ensure estimates/commitments are credible and transparent
  • Partner with business stakeholders to translate content/template complexity into realistic delivery scope and effort
  • Champion structured ways of working across Jira and Confluence

What you’ll bring

  • Extensive experience in end-to-end technology delivery (platforms, application delivery, transformation streams)
  • Demonstrated track record leading $5m+ programs/streams or complex multi-year initiatives
  • Strong understanding of systems integration, data flows, triggers and dependencies (you don’t need to be hands-on technical, but you must be technically fluent)
  • Proven vendor management capability (SI / platform vendor)
  • Strong stakeholder management across business + technology, calm under pressure, delivery-first mindset
  • Strong working knowledge of Jira and Confluence

Nice to haves

  • Experience delivering CCM / customer communications platforms (e.g., Quadient, SmartCOMM, Exstream, GMC)
  • Utilities/energy or other regulated industry experience
  • Experience with mailhouse + digital comms delivery channels and audit/traceability requirements

12 month initial contract.
