My client is an award winning FinTech SaaS vendor that is expanding rapidly across Australia. The sales team have smashed their targets for the past 8 years in a row and the company has had massive growth year on year. They have more than 30 sales reps in Australia, all above 90% of their sales target.

As a result of this continued growth, they are on the lookout for a new logo hunting Business Development Manager!!

Key responsibilities:

  • Selling the company's Fintech SaaS platform to finance, risk, credit, business and operations decision makers
  • Targeting new business opportunities into the smb and commercial/mid market sector
  • Prospecting, lead generation, customer demos through to closure
  • Achievement of monthly new business targets
  • Representing the company at industry events, hosting webinars and being a brand ambassador

Key skills required:

  • Demonstrable track record of business development in a customer facing business to business (end to end) closing sales role, ideally transactional SaaS sales
  • Outside of the software/SaaS industry, suitable (territory management) sales backgrounds may include telco, finance, pharma, FMCG or recruitment where you have had a high number of meetings and calls
  • Proven new business, new logo hunter who is not afraid to cold call and utilise your networks
  • Strong sales process / methodology, excellent CRM skills and have used tools such as Linkedin Sales Navigator,
  • Comfortable using sales automation platforms, CRM and analytics tools such as Salesforce, Hubspot, Hubspot, Zoho, Linkedin Sales Navigator, Lusha etc
  • Executive level presence - comfortable selling to C level and company owners/directors
  • High level EQ/IQ, sales determination and resilience/grit
  • Polish and poise with sophisticated presentation skills
