About the Role

We are looking for a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth by identifying, engaging, and closing new business opportunities across the NDIS and care sector.

This is a frontline, quota-carrying role suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced SaaS environment, understands the challenges of care providers, and can translate product value into business outcomes.

You will work closely with the leadership team (including the CEO) and play a critical role in scaling eZaango’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities

Market Research & Lead Generation

  • Identify and target NDIS providers, home care agencies, and healthcare organisations
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads
  • Leverage outbound channels (cold outreach, LinkedIn, email campaigns, events)
  • Work collaboratively with marketing to convert inbound leads

Conduct Product Demonstrations

  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client pain points and operational challenges
  • Deliver tailored product demos that highlight how the SaaS platform addresses specific operational challenges like rostering, compliance, and workforce management.
  • Develop customised proposals and ROI-driven business cases
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals
  • Customize presentations to resonate with different client types.

Develop and Execute Sales Strategies

  • Create and implement strategic sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align campaigns with sales goals and market trends.

Build and Maintain Client Relationships

  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers (Owners, Operations Managers, Clinical Leads)
  • Act as a trusted advisor by understanding customer workflows and compliance requirements
  • Ensure smooth handover to onboarding and customer success teams
  • Provide ongoing support and act as a liaison between clients and internal teams.

Negotiate Contracts and Close Deals

  • Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and proposal development.
  • Ensure deals are structured to meet both client needs and company profitability goals.

Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis

  • Stay updated on NDIS reforms, compliance requirements, and industry trends
  • Provide feedback to product and leadership teams on market needs and competitive positioning
  • Use insights to refine sales messaging and identify new market opportunities.

Collaborate with Product & Customer Success Teams

  • Provide client feedback to the product team to influence roadmap decisions.
  • Work with onboarding and support teams to ensure smooth client implementation and satisfaction.

Attend Industry Events & Networking Opportunities

  • Represent the company at conferences, expos, and webinars to build brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Build partnerships with industry associations and referral networks.

Maintain Accurate CRM Records

  • Track pipeline performance and key metrics
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Track all sales activities, client interactions, and deal progress in the CRM system.
  • Generate regular reports on pipeline health, conversion rates, and forecast accuracy.

Drive Customer Retention & Upselling

  • Identify opportunities for upselling additional modules or services.
  • Monitor client usage and satisfaction to proactively address churn risks.

Skills & Experience Required

• 3+ years in B2B SaaS sales, ideally in healthcare, staffing, or aged care sectors.

• Strong understanding of nursing agency workflows and compliance requirements.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field.

• Experience selling to NDIS providers or aged care organisations is highly desirable.

Onsite/Flexible Preference for candidates based in Australia.
