Key duties and responsibilities

The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to:

  • Coaching and developing team capability through on‑the‑job support;
  • Planning and managing the automation testing lifecycle within program and project constraints;
  • Coordinating performance test resource, estimates, schedules, and delivery activities;
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with project managers, test managers, ICT teams, and business stakeholders;
  • Providing technical guidance on automation testing tools, environments, data, and systems.
  • Identifying, managing, and escalating testing risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Ensuring clear, targeted, and appropriate communication with different stakeholders.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency within the automation test function.

Performance Tester

Key duties and responsibilities

The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to:

  • Preparing, developing and executing test cases using the framework;
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing team capability through leadership and on‑the‑job support;
  • Planning and managing the performance testing lifecycle within program and project constraints;
  • Coordinating performance test resource, estimates, schedules, and delivery activities;
  • Building and maintaining effective relationships with project managers, test managers, ICT teams, and business stakeholders;
  • Providing technical guidance on performance testing tools, environments, data, and systems;
  • Identifying, managing, and escalating test risks, issues, and dependencies;
  • Developing positive team ethos with different stakeholders through positive participation and communication.
  • Analysing business changes and conducting impact assessments;
  • Contribute to the test performance framework and its improvement;

Specified Personnel will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental staff and ensure appropriate documentation is stored in accordance with the Department’s recordkeeping policy and practices.

The Specified Personnel will be responsible for producing the following deliverables, including but not limited to:

  • Performance test plans, schedules, estimates, and reports.
  • Clear and up‑to‑date performance testing documentation and quality standards.
  • Timely risk and issue reports with defined mitigation strategies.
  • Stakeholder confidence in performance testing outcomes and recommendations.
  • Technical Documentation.
