This role is working in a high-end restaurant within a supportive and professional team environment, Moo Moo The Wine Bar + Grill has been established for over 15 years and is a multi-award-winning restaurant, recently awarded Best Steak Restaurant QLD 2023.

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our amazing team and help lead the continued success of the venue.

Reporting directly to the Group General Manager, this senior leadership role will work closely alongside the Head Chef to ensure seamless day-to-day operations between front and back of house while leading, mentoring, and developing the FOH management team and staff.

Applicants should only apply if they possess the following:

  • Minimum 3–4 years hospitality experience, including at least 3 years in a senior management role within a premium or fine dining environment.
  • Relevant diploma or qualification in hospitality.
  • Extensive experience in high-volume, high-end dining establishments with a strong focus on exceptional guest experience and service standards.
  • A thorough understanding of sequence of service, advanced food knowledge, and a strong wine knowledge base with an appreciation for premium food and wine pairing.
  • Proven leadership experience managing large FOH teams, including recruitment, training, performance management, and team development, with the ability to train staff to an exceptionally high standard.
  • A strong driver of sales with the ability to motivate teams to maximise guest experience, repeat business, and revenue growth.
  • Strong financial and operational understanding including wage control, cost of goods management, stock control, rostering, and overall venue performance.
  • The ability to oversee all areas of the venue, including bar operations when required.
  • Exceptional organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.

This is a full-time salaried position ($75,000 - $80000 + Super), and the successful applicant will be required to work Friday and Saturday nights.
