About this role

This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract as the Claims Officer.

In this role, you are responsible for processing member and provider claims to ensure that customer service and performance targets are met to support Business Unit and organisational goals.

Day to day you will:

  • Process Ancillary, Medical and Hospital claims across all business lines in line with business rules and Service Level Agreements.
  • Identify pain points and opportunities to improve, automate and digitalise the member and provider experience
  • Contribute to designing streamlined end-to-end processes that remove redundancies and support first point resolution

This role will be based in our Newcastle hub, the position commences on Monday, 22 June 2026 and requires your commitment to a two-week training program in our Newcastle hub. After training, you can work one day in the office per week, the rest working from home.

With experience in a similar role, or in customer service or administration, you will bring energy and commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

We're seeking motivated individuals who are keen to learn and grow, with a genuine interest in developing their knowledge of nib's products and claims processes. You'll have a strong attention to detail, take pride in accuracy, and enjoy learning new systems and applying your knowledge to real customer interactions.
