We have the opportunity for an experienced

People & Culture Business Partner to join our team. The ideal candidate will thrive in working in a fast paced, unionised, complex environment where no two days are the same. So if you are a strategic thinker, capable of aligning the People objectives with business goals and happy to be hands on this role could be for you.

About You and the Role

  • You collaborate with ease across diverse departments to implement our people initiatives that support the company's growth and success.
  • You are an expert in stakeholder engagement, understand the intricacies of consultation within a unionised environment and know how to build strong trusted relationships from the frontline up.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on HR-related matters and fostering a positive work environment.
  • Collaborate with managers to address employee relations issues, performance management, and talent development.
  • Drive organisational change initiatives and support in the execution of HR programs.
  • Partner with the recruitment team to attract, select, and onboard top talent aligned with business needs.
  • Analyse HR metrics and trends to make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions on various HR-related topics to enhance employee skills and knowledge.

Key Requirements that you bring with you

  • Proven experience as a P&C Business Partner or similar role in blue collar/ unionised environment, with knowledge of HR/IR functions and best practices; if you gained that experience in the Aviation industry even better!
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change, influence stakeholders, and handle sensitive HR issues with professionalism in a complex fast pace environment;
  • Qualification in Human Resources and/or Industrial Relations, or related field.
  • Must be willing and able to travel to other states
