The Role

The IT Officer provides first and second level remote operational System support and ensures quality IT service delivery. This full-time opportunity is integral to the Crown IT Department, involving a high-volume of interaction with external vendors, internal stakeholders and employees to ensure that Crown Group receives optimal business value and ongoing user confidence and satisfaction of customers.

To be considered for this role, you must have unrestricted working rights and be available to work over a 24/7 roster, including shifts on the weekends, overnights, and public holidays.

Some of your key responsibilities will include

  • Management of operating systems across the property & monitoring of daily operations

  • Provision of technical support to individuals and teams across the organisation

  • Maintaining IT devices, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure smooth performance

  • Troubleshooting issues with a strong focus on responsiveness and service

  • Develop and maintain documentation relating to incidents, service requests, problem and change management tickets and customer communications.

About you

We’re looking for a proactive and results‑focused

IT Officer to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys problem solving, supporting others and keeping technology running smoothly.

  • Relevant tertiary or certificate‑level qualifications in Information Technology

  • Prior experience within an IT role is advantageous, but not required

  • Strong technical knowledge and demonstrated problem solving skills

  • Clear and confident verbal and written communication skills

  • An analytical mindset that will thrive in a fast‑paced environment

  • Collaborative team approach to work with the ability to work independently
