Providing inspections and laboratory testing services for all Oil & Petrochemicals as well as coal.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Laboratory Technician/Preparation Samplers to join our team in Gladstone.

Depending on the focus of your role, you will be using specialised equipment for laboratory testing of coal samples or performing manual handling tasks to prepare coal samples. You will also be involved in the simulation of coal production processes to test the properties of coal samples.

Full training will be provided.

This role would suit a candidate wishing to pursue a career in the industry.

Roster

2 Days 3 Nights - 4 off - 3 Days 2 Nights - 5 off - 2 Days 2 Nights - 5 off

About You

To be successful in this role you will need to possess the following:

  • Physically fit and capable of performing manual handling tasks
  • Sound numerical skills.
  • A methodical and well organised approach to your work.
  • Reliable and able to work shift work, weekends and overtime as required.
  • A QLD C Class drivers license and own transport

Safety is an absolute. Ongoing Drug & Alcohol testing and the ability to meet site inductions will be a requirement of working on site.

Must live locally in the Gladstone region. NO FIFO.
