Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and proactive

National Program Manager to lead the delivery of electrical and communications installation projects for our national clients. This key leadership role will coordinate project rollout at the national level, working closely with state teams, project managers, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and efficient program delivery, while maintaining excellence in quality, safety, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the overall program rollout and delivery of national electrical and communications projects.
  • Collaborate with State Managers and Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Oversee preparation and submission of estimates and quotations alongside Senior Estimators.
  • Monitor and control project budgets and net margins.
  • Mobilize and guide project teams for seamless delivery of multiple national projects.
  • Provide regular progress reports to clients and Senior Management.
  • Manage national client contracts in conjunction with National Account Managers.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with national clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Champion workplace health, safety, and environment policies, ensuring compliance across all sites.
  • Foster a high-performance culture by supporting team engagement, learning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Certificate III or IV in Electrotechnology/Telecommunications preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years qualified experience in electrical and network cabling.
  • Valid ‘A’ Class Electrical Licence.
  • Open Cabling registration and BICSI RCDD qualifications highly desirable.
  • Project Management and Business Management qualifications or training preferred.
  • Sound knowledge of the building and construction industry.
  • WH&S certification or training desirable.
  • Current Australian driver’s licence.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Strong customer focus with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead collaborative teams, make decisions, and drive accountability.
  • Resilient problem-solver who thrives in dynamic environments.
