PET Supervisor - Nuclear Medicine Technologist

I-MED is pleased to be offering an exciting new role for a PET Supervisor at our soon to be completed, state of the art NM / PET department in Frankston. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced supervisor or a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with leadership skills, looking to grow their career and be part of the development of a new PET service in one of the South East’s largest I-MED hospital-based clinics.
Reporting to the Area Nuclear Coordinator, this role is Monday to Friday, working 7.6-hour shifts between 7am to 5pm, with no on-call requirements. Part-time role may be considered for a suitably qualified applicant.

Key Accountabilities Include
- Performing all aspects of PET including radio-pharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard
- Plan and manage daily workforce and consumable requirements
- Work closely with reporting Radiologists to develop clinic services
- Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, radiology staff, hospital staff and managers
- Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards
Key Selection Criteria
- Demonstrated ability to perform high quality PET examinations, while also providing support to other Nuclear Medicine staff.
- Previous management experience or demonstrated ability to assume responsibilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and corporate staff
- Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine
- Applicants must be AHPRA Registered
- Diagnostic CT accreditation would be an advantage but not required
