Salary Range: LGO4 ( $83,384 - $89,379 per annum + superannuation) based on skills, qualifications and experience

About The Role

This role is responsible for leading data governance, systems administration and continuous improvement across Planning and Development. You will plan and deliver reviews and audits of core information systems, identify risks and efficiencies, and recommend improvements to support effective decision‑making and change management. The position also manages regulatory and performance reporting obligations, including legislative compliance, resource reporting, performance indicators and trend analysis.

As the system custodian and subject matter expert, you will oversee enhancements to new and existing systems, lead customer‑facing information and reporting, and provide strategic advice on system integration across multidisciplinary teams. You will also design and facilitate process mapping workshops, embed continuous improvement practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to improve systems, processes, policies, and supporting training materials.

About You

  • Relevant qualifications in Business, Business Systems or Information Technology (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum five years’ experience in a systems management environment
  • A current Queensland “C” class driver’s licence
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, including training and issue resolution
  • Experience working within and supporting multidisciplinary teams
  • Proven capability in systems administration, data governance, risk identification and problem solving
  • Sound knowledge of IT infrastructure and enterprise systems
  • Strong data analysis and reporting skills, including regulatory reporting
