Senior Product Manager Small Business Banking

Great Southern Bank

You will be responsible for managing the SME banking products under the SME Banking model. This will require you to leverage your extensive product management experience to develop and implement product management functions across our innovative partner delivery model, working closely with technology partner counterparts. You will be responsible for driving customer growth, working in conjunction with Marketing and Digital teams to drive acquisition, and with our partner to deliver great customer experiences and strong economic returns.. In addition to driving economic returns for the bank, you will also need to ensure the SME bank products are fully compliant, requiring management of all aspects of risk and compliance management across the end-to-end processes. Given we’re still building, you’ll need to draw on your experience to develop and implement the right model to manage products provided on a hosted banking platform.

You will also work closely with our technology partner to monitor product performance, user experience and customer NPS, and account activity and profitability. You will work collaboratively with our tech partner to continuously improve our digital proposition, focusing on great digital experiences, informing, and shaping the product roadmap, and being involved in all stages of the product lifecycle.

In addition to the day-to-day operation of the products, you will help develop and shape our customer value proposition, ensuring we remain competitive, providing attractive and compelling products and services to our target small business customers.

You’ll make an impact by

  • Managing products including processes, customer outcomes, profitability, growth and risk
  • Collaborating with the bank’s technology partner to deliver products across the shared delivery model
  • Ensure the SME Bank’s product proposition remains competitive and attractive, and aligned to target segment needs, to drive growth
  • Establishing product management operating model across the shared model, to provide robust, well-managed and compliant product operations

Do things differently with us

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 7-8 years’ Product Management experience, across lending, deposit and payment products
  • A broad understanding of lending and deposit products and services
  • Technology – A sound knowledge of technology and flow of data with a key ability to understand the impacts of technology on banking products and services
  • Qualifications in Technology, Business, or Finance
